Here at St Mark's we pride ourselves on knowing each and every one of our children very well. We understand that all of our children are individuals and we cater our learning opportunities to meet the children's needs. We are a small, friendly family school and we strive to make learning fun, so that all of the children reach their full potential, and we let their light shine!

Letter to new parents and carers- September 2022

We are delighted that you and your child will be joining St. Mark’s CE Primary School this coming September. On behalf of the Staff, Governors, children and parents, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your family to our school. Your child will be in Starfish Class.

We understand that each and every child and family is unique. We will listen and take the time to build honest open communication with children and families and share children’s learning journeys together.

This is an exciting time for you and your child and there will be lots to look forward to. There will also be many things that you may need to find out about. We will be holding some stay and play sessions and home visits. Our team will make contact with nurseries and childminders to ensure that we get to know your child well. We will also make contact with you over the phone in the near future. The number may be withheld so please be aware of this.

We will send you more information via email and the post.
