“My son joined at beginning of  Y3 –unable to read and reluctant to write. He had intensive phonics daily for 1 year and is now thriving, reading fluently, writing and enjoying all subjects especially History.  My daughter restarted Reception-at compulsory school age as her original cohort were affected with Covid Lockdowns. I really appreciate the Head’s and school’s support with this decision and I’m delighted in how much progress and confidence she has gained since moving to St Mark’s.
